The last time these two locked horns was in week 9 when the Giants just about had enough to take a 24-20 win and, of course, New York took the Vince Lombardi trophy in 2008 in one of the most memorable Super Bowls ever. Like that game, this one will surely hinge on how much protection Tom Brady receives. The legendary quarterback has been the inspiration behind the impressive Patriots offense and will be at his destructive best unless the Giants can contain him.

Eli Manning meanwhile could have a field day against the patriot’s defense which is ranked 31st in the league. It is also worth noting that the franchise quarterback drove the New York Giants 80 yards to beat New England in their last meeting in November. The men from New York are looking to become the first side ever to win a Super bowl after recording just nine wins in the regular season. Their heroic run from a wild card place to the showpiece event certainly has fans believing that they can upset the Super Bowl odds and become the most unlikely champions but they will need Manning to be at his best.
